How You Can Tell, and Finding Real Psychics
Many online psychic ads offer free but bogus horoscopes or tarot readings which send the same message to everyone who asks. Usually these are very long messages trying to sell you high-priced "clairvoyant" or "psychic" services, or a "second reading." So far I've found misleading these online entities:
- Norah
- Jenna
- Gabriella
- Tara
- Zoradamus (also calling herself "N. Zora")
- Sylvia Browne
- Pasqualina
- Sara Freder (run by the same company as "Pasqualina")
Click on the names with links to find my full investigation of their services. When I investigated their individual claims of being "a fourth-generation clairvoyant" or "winning a Psychic of the Year Award," finding no proofs of these claims I checked for Internet complaints. (So should you.) If you find many bitter complaints, all the evidence, starting with the fake horoscope, points to fakery overall.
"Tara" told me I'd won a lottery, and that she could prove it -- amazing, considering I didn't even play!
Ways to tell fake psychics by their photos: Psychic frauds know that you are suspicious, so there's been a trend to use plain middle-aged female models in normal clothing, but don't be fooled. Google them all. Laugh at the ones wearing turbans, robes, glitter, or Goth, if they have perfect hair and skin, if their photos are oversized (sure sign of a fake!), or if they have big dark burning eyes or green or shocking-blue eyes ("Tara" and "Zoradamus" are examples).
The names and faces of these "psychics" are fronts for businesses that rake in millions by misleading people. They do not give customized, individualized psychic readings. Their products are "canned," or in the case of Sylvia Browne, mere guesses, almost always cruelly wrong. This is tragic for desperate people who want online psychics to tell them winning lottery numbers or explain a child's death.
Even if you are troubled or frantic, stop and think. Do you really believe "Zoradamus" is her real name, that she is a prophet who descends from a 16th-century soothsayer, has helped scores of people win big lottery and casino money, that she secretly advises top world businessmen, cures illness by phone and speaks seven languages? If somebody sat next to you on a plane or bus and told you all that, you would think they were insane. Why would you believe it when you read it online?
About Real Psychics
Real psychics are extremely rare and do not need to advertise. They build a regular local or regional clientele through word of mouth.Maybe they could advertise through Yahoo and invite the entire Internet to come get a reading from them 24/7/365, but that would be a terrible overload for one person, don't you think?
Real psychics do not need to "do" astrology or Tarot readings, and so are unlikely to offer those. Astrology and Tarot are two totally different arts and require extensive education and training. By contrast, real psychics have a gift. They do not need to be trained or mentored. They probably have unlisted phone numbers. They may very well be miserable with their gift and wish they did not have it.
It works the other way, too: Real, trustworthy astrologers do not claim to be psychics. Astrologers and psychics have nothing in common. Misleading ads for "clairvoyant horoscopes" bet that most people don't know this.
Still think you need a psychic reading?
First, Google the name of the psychic or company and see what other clients have said. Do NOT pay money or call a number if you find complaints. Fake psychics are big business. Needy, suffering people are their bread and butter.
My opinion about psychic readings done "remotely" by phone or email is that electronic energy fields and the pressure on both the reader and the caller greatly interfere with the clarity of a psychic transaction.
Local psychics have websites so people can find them or book a reading, so you can try that, but I have been to two local psychics and was disappointed. One struggled along, getting everything wrong, and then declared me "hard to read." So it was my fault!
The other did a move that is classic fake! Very often, a fake psychic will tell you that someone important in your life has the initial "R." Every one of us has that, whether it's Robert our boss or Rover our dog, or a neighbor or lawyer with that initial.
A friend I'll call Sarah went to a psychic, although it was 70 miles outside of the city and its price was very high. The psychic was a plain-faced, working-class woman who lived with her parents in a small house and met clients in the living room. When Sarah came in, the psychic said she saw an orange aura and said, "You're anticipating something," and asked, "Who's George?" Sarah had just had a first date with a man named George. That was probably much like the experience you will have if you find a real psychic.
But if you don't find one, in my opinion your best bet for quick customized information and guidance is a local Tarot card reader with a good reputation, one you meet in person. Ask around at salons, coffeehouses, spas, and hotels. A real Tarot reader is a combination counselor and diviner, and an ethical one will be glad to give you references. The price will be reasonable.

Not sure what qualifies you to past such comments, regardless that they are positive or negative.

One sign that caught my attention was a fake psychic will tell you that someone important in your life has the initial "R" or they will tell you some person will enter your life with this initial too. I went on tarotdotcom. I can tell those psychics are not real. They use tarot cards and pictures along with birthdates to read people. If they were truly real, they wouldn't need that. One psychic even analyzed my situation before i even mentioned anything. Not to mention, she took advantage of my suffering as well. Also, i wanted to state, when I asked this other on-line psychic for more information. they refused to give me anymore, which i felt was rude. If they were truly real, they would of answered all of your questions.
I contacted Tara. I was quite suspicious from the outset when she told me I would win a huge sum of money. I decided not take it any further and didn't take up her 'exclusive' offer. Subsequent messages from her became much darker. She was telling me there was a dark force of evil trying to hurt me and only she could help me. Anyone vulnerable could be taken in by this and end up paying a fortune for nothing.
Okay having all that said and done , how can i get a real astrologist , that's straight forward , not expensive and proofy

I am so glad I came across this website but unfortunately it was too late for me. Tara was the online Pyschic that I had been responding to her emails, she too told me I was going to win large amounts of money and I sent her money via internet, Nothing of what she told me had come true and all she wanted was my money and not interested in helping me or my financial situation or personal situation. Like I mentioned as I was in a pretty desperate situation and was looking for someone to help and guide me and am disgusted in what she has done to me. I should have listened to my friend a long time ago who told me to stop sending her money for these readings.

But they can't because Tara-Medium who hooks you first with a free reading. The server is most probably a shared server & is located in Hong Kong.
Now I did a few dances with Tara from Hong Kong. Do not get the fraud from Hong Kong mixed up with the lady from FB who is a medium & does not go around ripping off people! TOO many people like the one from Hong Kong! Tara-Medium from Hong Kong has left a trail of pain & sorrow & there are a lot of people not happy with them!
I had came across the free reading from the fraud a while back letting people have my email address. (An emailing list for stuff for this & that). But I had traps already in place too catch out people like them. Just my email name should of gave them a warning..
Then after all the physiological profiling & telling me what I want too hear. I picked this. They were not warned off by my email address & they had not picked up with the false name being an alias!
I also sent them emails & got a responding automated email in all the same responses. I also seen that paypal had not been part of their payment system. Meaning they have not been verified!
After a while the Tara dried up & blew away like like the proverbial dog droppings that they were!!
Now brings me to the present day or night depending on your time line is. Now N.Zora last month gets in contact with me & all it's garbage goes too the right spot in hotmail "JUNK"!
Now being silly like Tara-Medium they take no notice of the first warning. I got all those emails so I made them a folder of their own.
Then emailed them back & told them, what I'm practically writing here.
I told them I had seen through Tara-Medium like a glass.
But a week nearly later I get a reply. Now you will get no good hits using N.Zora. But if you use the full name Zoradamus, it's like hitting pay dirt & I had warned them that I will find dirt on them if it's out there! SylviaSky, I dipps my lid too you! I do not like people who take advantage of others & you have brought this too attention & I have a lot of respect to people like yourselves who take the time too help out the needy who need it. I haven't finished with Zora. I'll hunt down the isp they even use if I have to & of course the locale of it! LOL!!!

hi Sylvia Sky, I was very happy to find your site through google. I was searching google for Zoradamus as she claims to be related to Nostradomis excuse mispelling.
Well I received my free reading from her and she basically covered the traits of my sign even though I dont have many traits of the sign i was born under. One thing she said to me was ...well you tell me?? I quote A long time ago perhaps as far back as childhood you were exposed to a geobiological disturbance an underground vein of water or rocky fault, Hartmann or Curry network waveforms generated by a large beam in your home.... and that this disturbed what I call your internal clock of destiny. I have had all of them , using all the techniques I read here, impending wins, evil influences, negative cycles, special occult ceremonies on my behalf and of course 'I never tell people this but...' and them 'I have many people in my care..' I wonder if its few or many; either way its far too many! A shame these evil charlatans can't be prosecuted and closed down for good.

thanks Sylvia. I was just about to pay Zora, read this, checked scam reports (damages claimed there are incredible. Quite frankly, she scared me enough to think about paying her. Now I get junk mail from her Panama address from all kinds of people with a similar name. Almost like fear-pressure into paying.
Tara returned my money. So that's something to say for her.
However, I won't be doing anything like that again. If I really feel like I want to see a psychic, it will be in person.
Why do these people need your money if they are genuinely psychic, there's a million and one things they could gamble on everyday. If they are doing this truly as a service to people because it's for the greater good then surely they would do it voluntarily and use their so called powers to line their banks appropriately, if they can give you a reading based solely on your date of birth and email address then surely they can look up some high flying CEO's and predict a few stocks and shares, plenty of money to be made there. This is pulling the wool, ripping off etc in its grandest style. Nobody trusts a salesperson THAT IS ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE, however they dress up as psychics, they sell you their product based on your dreams and fears. It's disgusting, at least if you throw £20 at a fairground psychic you get some one on one contact and she'll maybe give you some good advice if you're open and honest. I'd suggest she's just good at reading people and insightful, and probably down to earth good common sense advice (they are good at giving advice in a way you want to hear it that is all) I'm sure if you asked a panel of your closest friends and family (of course you wouldn't get an accurate picture if your telling loads of lies) what you should do with your life or a particular situation then I'm sure that some of them will come up with the same answer, and I'm sure that answer would be right, however some will tell you to bluntly, you'll disregard it cos you don't like their attitude, some won't be blunt enough, you'll disregard it as wishy-washy. This is because at the end of the day most people don't follow advice, they just do what they want, when people ask for advice it usually means they just want to sound off on you for a bit. 1. Never give advice unless someone asks for it. 2. Always be wary about giving advice to somebody who's asked because they invariably won't follow it. 3. Don't be upset when they don't follow it, they didn't need advice, they needed a sounding board, it was you, that means you're important to them.

I have been in contact with Tara for nearly a year now and so far none of her preditions have come true, but she was honest enough to refund all the money I paid her.
So I think she is a honest person that keeps her word.

"Real psychics and astrologers have nothing in common." False! I'm psychic (most people DO have intuitive gifts) and study astrology. The astrology just confirms what I already sense about a person. I like to have that confirmation but don't need it to know. My relatives don't study astrology. They just use their natural gift. To me, it's the difference between Michael Jordan (who had talent AND still shot free throws after the game to hone it) and the high-school basketball star who we don't know. This is an irresponsible and insulting article to non-frauds.
No insults are intended. The fact is that those claiming to do astrology by intuition or vibes and using that as a selling point are indeed frauds.
Just got an email from Zora, thanks for the insight. Tara's another shalatan, emailed her telling as she was all seeing she should do what she sugests for free, as she should be able to see that I am broke . she said she couldn't do that I said that I would pay her when I won all the money she predicted then I would pay her. still no but she continues to pester me to pay for her services.
I viewed Zoradamus web site and all the pictures of people giving recommendations are fake.
all phsychics, mediums light workers are all cold reading fakes and frauds. i have not meet a credible one yet. they all want to seperate you from your money.
I am a real psychic,i really hate doing readings for all who ask,i never advertise myself,its just word of mouth. Reading for people is a big responsibility, i would never lie to anybody or mislead them in anyway, money is not my gain, but a guiding hand along thier pathway in life is what i offer. I am shocked that a member of my family is claiming to be psychic and running a website, so that people who are searching for help and guidence can be conned out of money, i feel sick to my stomach. I was handed down a gift that should never be abused.
That's Zoradamus is fake and that picture of her's gives me a bad feeling , like it was purposely done to give that effect ! To make one feel uncomfortable .....
Shouldn't all psychics be on this list? As in: everyone claiming to be what is patently not true are either conning people or in need of help?
Sebastian, I list only psychics I can fully investigate and prove are not people at all, but robot email programs. I have separate reviews of some popular phone psychic services whose employees are entertainers only but at least they are real people. I always advise choosing certified astrologers or tarot readers with good references instead of online or phone psychics.

I like the article but there are two things that need to be considered when looking for a good psychic or reputable one. First of all if they work for a company CHECK THE COMPANY. A lot of times having one name and no last name or second name and having bad reviews is a reflection of the company and the companies reputation and policies and not at all reflective of the reader. There are some companies that require the reader to take on the name they give them and sometimes that name is reused. It's always best to check the company first and not just the reader.
