Horoscope Review: Susan Miller's AstrologyZone Premier App with Quick-Match Hookup Guide, $1.99
69Astrology Zone Premier
In my view AstrologyZone.com's free monthly Sun-sign horoscopes are the best bet on the Net: honest and encouraging forecasts rooted in real astrology. Every word is eagerly read by thousands of fans of its exceptional writer-astrologer, Susan Miller. For entertainment, try the AstrologyZone Premier app for iPhone ($1.99), BlackBerry ($4.99) or for Android (from Phunware, $1.99). Impressed by Miller's monthly horoscopes I purchased it, joining more than 5,000 other AstrologyZone devotees. Exploring the app in depth I found that for $1.99 AstrologyZone Premier delivered an attractive and easy-to-use daily-horoscope app with enticing extras.
The daily horoscopes for today, tomorrow, and yesterday take a very conservative tone, better for readers who are settled with houses and families than for more ambitious youth. For example, the first sentence of Aquarius' daily horoscope, Feb. 17: "Whatever family collectibles or valuables you might have, today will be a great time to sort through them and decide what you could sell." Miller's breathtaking monthly horoscopes appear on the 1st of each month (okay, sometimes the 2nd) and are worth reading at any time. Tap "My Sign" to set your Sun sign and see the menu choices "Daily Horoscope," "Monthly Forecast," "Cosmic Tools" (explaining the meanings of the planets and houses), and the delightful menu item "Life & Love."

The Quick-Match Lounge Guide, and Seducing Your Lover
Under the "Life and Love" you can entertain yourself with the unique "Quick Match Lounge Guide" for your sign. Consult this instant compatibility guide if you're in a lounge, I guess, checking out a potential hookup. The messages are short and to the point. For Aquarius, it says a Taurus will be like hooking up with "Fred or Wilma Flintstone. Not likely. You both inhabit different planets." I laughed because that reflects my experience! Virgo's Lounge Guide says loyal Taurus is Virgo's ideal and "may be stubborn, but it's a small price to pay for the Bull's genuine respect and attentiveness." Also under "Life and Love" are an astrological calendar, plus advice for your sign's "Fitness," "Vacation Tips," and "Stress Busters," and more. Best and most entertaining is "Seducing Your Lover," suggesting dating activities that fit your partner's sign, advice on "How to Handle Him (or Her)," gift ideas, and in some cases what color lingerie garners the best seduction results. This is all fun and well written.
To switch signs or see different menu items any time, simply tap on a "home" icon at the upper left -- the only icon in the toolbar -- to get where you want to go in the fewest possible number of screens. Gorgeously simple navigation. Other horoscope apps need ten taps and squinting and your phone's back button. That gets old fast. Go for simplicity in your choice of horoscope apps.
Having Astrology Zone's monthly horoscope at your fingertips by itself is worth $1.99, but this is a really nice app overall.
